Pictures, Staging, Price - It All Matters
There can be a multitude of reasons your home has not sold or it didn't sell during the contract time.
It's not as easy as simply blaming price. Though price can be a factor, it's not always the case as to why a home didn't clear the market in a timely manner.
Over the years as a Realtor, I have heard numerous comments and complaints from home buyers as to why or why not they will look at or write an offer on a prospective home.
A top reason is photographs. Either lacking pictures, poor quality images, odd angles or mis-representation with photos (wide angle or stretching images to make a room appear larger) are the #1 issue home buyers seem to have.
Home buyers simply skip properties when there is just one picture or just a couple. We live in a visual, on demand society and if pictures are not available as soon as a property is available on the MLS, there is a strong possibility the buyer will not re-look at the property data.
