Well, interestingly enough, the number of new listings jumped back up by approximately 100 to match the week over week from what was consistent with most of September.  Clearly there was just a bit of a lull with new listings on the last week of September.  Here is the snapshot for the first week of October, 2015.

What is interesting this week is the number of new listings has dropped off by approximately 100 listings over the previous 4 weeks.  The number of sales and conditionally sold properties has remained the same.

For the month of July 2013 We have seen strong sales growth in Calgary's Real Estate market.

Calgary's residential real estate sales totaled 2268 units which represents a 17% increase from the same period in 2012 and up 6% so far this year.

April 2013 was another solid month in Calgary's Real Estate market.  The market has slowed slightly from back in February when there was a lot of talk of our 'insane real estate market' in the media.  

We are up just over 5% from the same period in 2012, and with the number of sales being almost the same we can sit comfortably knowing we are not heading down the same path as 2006/07....

February was a strong month again for Calgary's real estate market.  Inventory levels are still lower than I'd personally like to see, the increase over January's listings is about 400 homes - and approximately 100 new listings over the same period in 2012.  Buyer's are acting quick for the homes they want, but not beng unreasonable.

As expected, January showed to be a strong start to the Real Estate market for 2013.  In comparison to last month the market had over 1000 new single family home listings enter the market over December taking a little presure off of our inventory crunch.

 

The total number of active listings increased by 10.6% over the month despite there being 16% more sales in the month.

Analysis of December 2012 Calgary Real Estate Sales

 

Well December 2012 sure was an interesting month for Calgary Real Estate activity.  Was definitely busy.

It's that time again - Stats have come out!  November has been a very interesting month to say the least.  There has been a little seller frustration in the air and buyers seem to be getting the upper hand. 
 

Despite sales being up 5.45% from the same time last year - they are down by 14.4% from October.  Seller's who entered the market at the tail end of October...

October continued like the previous month to maintain a stable and balanced market.  Home sales were up slightly from the same time last year and inventories were down fractionally.  This also has resulted in an increased benchmark price of $387,700 - up from $362,700 in January 2012.  Figures like this are in line with a healthy real estate market.
