Easter Turducken - A Sunday Adventure at Home
So the thought of cooking a Turducken has intrigued me for some time now. For those who do not know what this is - check out "The Original Turducken" and learn.
 
Basically, a 5KG ball of meat extravaganza! How could one not want something like this???  I call this an "adventure" as it seemed to be an adventure from the time I told my wife (and she was totally against the idea) to the time...

After a couple attempts, I think this recipe is pretty much it.  Or pretty dang close...and if you've never had Diana Rib/Chicken Sauce, try this recipe out.  It's Yumota!

BMO study finds mortgage rate increase will hamper Canadians
Interesting article regarding a survery completed by BMO regarding affordabliity on increased mortgage rates.
 
The survey found that 43% of Canandians would "hamper their ability to pay" with an increased rate.
 
Alberta, with the least concern came out at 73% stating it would not affect their ability to pay.

December 2011 Calgary Real Estate Board Statistics
December proved to be a strong month over the same period in 2010 with an increase in sales of 8%.  Was a nice finish to the year after a slower period in August/September periods.
